Alice in Central Park

A couple weeks ago, my friend Aerynsys approached me about a photoshoot. She wanted to do something with an Alice in Wonderland theme, so we talked about it and decided that the best place would be Central Park, set up a time, and I had to run from there to catch a bus home (and nearly missed it).

A week of scattered planning later, I was in NYC again, but this time in Central Park's Bethesda Terrace, where I discovered that summer apparently started in April this year.

Weather aside, it was a really fun shoot. The photographer, Crisanto Jorda, was absolutely amazing to work with, and Aeryn is always fun. We both started with close-ups for the cosmetics company Dolluxe's new lash line with myself as Alice and Aeryn as the White Rabbit.

From there, we took several photos around the main fountain at Bethesda Terrace, and I attempted to eat a reflector, because that's apparently what I do at photoshoots.

This is apparently just what I do. It's not the first time I've tried, either.
Everything else was shot in the vicinity, ranging from the paths around the fountain to around the lake. It was a fairly short shoot, wrapping up for me in just over an hour and a half, but it was well worth the transit time to come out and see a friend and participate in the shoot! I'm excited for the next time we get to do it again.
