Hypnotic Sweet Treats - Creepy Candy

A few weeks ago I participated in the launch photos for Hypnotic Sweet Treats' latest print, Creepy Candy! If you love candy, eyeballs, creepy-cute styles, or Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, this is probably the series for you. The entire print is composed of adorable pieces of candy and different colour eyeballs and has four different main pieces - a jumperskirt, a salopette, a skirt, and a miniskirt! As soon as they came in the mail I was in love, and the next day Kate and I hopped in the car and headed down to Washington, DC to meet up with Alexa and Jazzmin.

We each had different pieces to wear, so we met up pre-shoot for some wardrobe planning and location decisions. I ended up in the salopette, an adorable piece with a giant eyeball pocket in the front! Absolutely. In. Love. After lots of silliness... away we went, and we actually ended up shooting in an abandoned office park in Laurel, MD.

We are all clearly serious 100% of the time. Always.

It ended up raining a couple times, but would you believe this is an office park? We beat the heat (and rain) by constantly running back and forth to our cars and driving around in circles a couple times for air conditioning. Proof that determination really can make random things work!

We also shot a few fun wigs from Gothic Lolita Wigs and RockStar Wigs. I wore the Short Blended Babydoll Lolita in Pink & Blue, Kate wore the Classic (Wavy) Powder Lavender, Jazzmin wore the Spiral Collection's Pinkie, and Alexa wore my personal favourite, Rainbow Rock Collection's Prism 2 (Pastel)! So much pastel!

Cute print is cute. It also has matching tights and bows, all of which are available for purchase!
In addition to my salopette, Kate wore the jumperskirt, Jazzmin wore the skirt, and Alexa wore the miniskirt! Everyone looked so adorable! We were a rainbow of eyeballs! And candy! (I'm still not totally sure if that's a good thing or not. But we were cute.) Alexa also had an Arpakasso friend for the duration of the shoot and pretty much looked adorable the whole time.

Creepy Candy cuteness!

Creepy Candy is available for pre-order now, too! Visit Hypnotic Sweet Treats' Facebook page and webstore to see more photos and fun products!
